Location: Saudi Arabia MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: B.S. Engineering. M.S. or PhD in Engineering or other advanced professional engineering degree is highly desirable. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or registration is highly desirable. Experience: Ten (10) years of professional experience, including years as an engineer in responsible charge of technical work in field of specialty. Recognized by Engineering Services as an expert in the field. Incumbent will normally achieved industry recognition through activities in professional societies and industrial organizations such as ASME, ASCE, ASTM, API, NACE, SEI and others. Must have published several papers in technical journals. Work direction skills are a prerequisite in some job applications. Must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills and be willing to transfer implicit knowledge to specialists and engineers in the field.
Position Description Company is seeking an Engineering Specialist in liquid custody transfer measurement system. As a recognized expert in this field, you will provide professional advice and guidance on operational processes, their optimization, facility design and solution to all aspect of liquid custody transfer measurement problems. He will develop/maintain Saudi Aramco engineering standards, procedures, general instructions,and best custody transfer measurement systems to determine potential problems and remedies to complex technical problems. He will introduce new technologies from all over the world to help the company achieve/maintain the best in class position in oil and gas. He will perform technical audits of #Aramco liquid measurement facilities and provide input on their improvements. He will work with task forces on measurement discrepancies, measurement systems evaluation of resolving measurement issues. He will provide technical input on custody transfer measurement project to project Management, operating organizations, vendors, manufacturers and design firms, etc. He will conduct seminars, technical exchange meetings, attend conferences, write papers and develop training programs. He should possess excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with willingness to impart knowledge across the company. Selection Criteria Field experience within the oil and gas industry in custody transfer measurement systems including metering system design and development, detail knowledge and characteristics of system components primary & secondary sensors, flow computers metering supervisory, PLC etc. He must be proven expert within industry recognition through activities in professional societies and industrial organizations like API, AGA, NIST, ASME, ISO and IP. Expertise in current and future trends in liquid custody transfer measurement systems design and development such as metering, tank gauging, ATG#s etc. Proven written and verbal skills in developing and presenting technical reports. He must be computer literate with advance level of experience in use of office and technical software.
