POSITION DESCRIPTION: Provides highly skilled expertise and work direction in maintaining, troubleshooting and repair of all protective relaying and control systems for substations, switching stations, power plants, uninterruptible power supplies and large motor and generator controls of Aramco's Power Distribution Department's Central, Southern and Northern Areas.

SELECTION CRITERIA: Masters optimum usage of computerized relay test equipment to perform automatic testing, upload and download of test files and perform substation automation projects and upgrade tasks. Must also master substation DFR & SOE hardware and software to obtain system information data, set equipment parameters and troubleshooting errors together with micro-processor type protective relay testing, programming and configuration. Good knowledge and experience of Digital and Analog KWH Meter Calibrations and application of computer programs.

Completion of ITC: English ERW; Math MI; and vocational training in control circuitry, power relays, and/or power utilities. CPR (CardioPulmonary Resuscitation) required. Certified to perform switching operations. Valid Saudi Arabian Government driver's license. Experience required: 11 years experience in electrical control circuitry, relaying, and electric utilities.
