Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Standard First Aid Certificate, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate
Experience: 1 - 6 months
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Oil and Gas Well Drilling Worker Specific Skills: Align and manipulate sections of pipe or drill stem from a platform on the rig derrick, Assist in setting up, taking down and transporting drilling and service rigs
Oil and Gas Well Services Operator Specific Skills: Drive well services truck to well site, Attach pumps and hoses to wellhead, Operate hydraulic pumping systems
Additional Skills: Train and supervise floorhands, assistants and helpers
Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Hand-eye co-ordination, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Work Site Environment: Outdoors
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
