THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a major international oil company to provide an Umbilical / Flowline / Riser (UFR) Engineer to be based in Lagos, Nigeria. This is a residential position. One year renewable contract. Internationally competitive Travel as requested by Client. Good Rate.
THE PERSON
Significant experience of design, FEED / basic engineering phases of projects. Between 5 and 10 years experience in rigid / flexible pipeline engineering for deepwater Projects. Knowledge in flow-assurance. Practice of offshore works. Day to day follow-up in UFR Basic Engineering Contractor Offices of basic engineering studies for Flowline and Risers. Supervising definition of flowlines and risers requirements (functional requirements, engineering, fabrication, tests, installation, pre-commissioning).
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bachelors Degree. Good knowledge of international design codes / standards and general specifications. Practice or knowledge of recent pipe software (sizing, thermal calculations, etc.). Previous West African experience is an advantage. All nationalities considered but must have fluent English.
