Location: Saudi Arabia POSITION DESCRIPTION: The candidate will work as a contract advisor in PE&D Contracting Support Group. The candidate will be expected to work both independently and in a team format supporting all contract related tasks requested by various user organizations. The candidate is expected to take the lead in all tasks related to contract procurement cycle, including but not limited to: Prepare contract procurement requests, including helping with drafting Scopes of Work and methods of payment. Review contract documents and ensure suitability of documents for envisioned work - this will require coordinating with Contracting, Law and Finance organizations. After contract has been awarded, negotiate and reconcile differences between proponents and contractors, should they arise. When necessary, prepare company estimates and other related requirements. Consult, as needed, with proponent organizations on correct contracting procedures and advise on strategies to meet contracting objectives of proponents. Lead (if required) other contract advisors within the group.
SELECTION CRITERIA: The candidate must have a good knowledge of computer usage and related software used in a business environment. A complete understanding of Saudi Aramco's contracting procedures and an understanding of Finance and Law requirements with regard to the contracting process. The candidate must be fluent in both written and spoken English. The candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks with a quick turnaround. Moreover, the candidate must work well as part of a team, have a customer-oriented attitude and a drive for results with a high level of accuracy. Initiative is essential. Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Industrial Management, Industrial Engineering or other related fields.
COMMENTS: The Unit for which candidate will work is responsible for providing contract procurement activities for Petroleum Engineering & Development. This will involve a wide range of contracts ranging from software licensing contracts to large volume general service type contracts.
