POSITION DESCRIPTION: Saudi Aamco Oil Supply & Planning Department (OSPAS) is seeking planning engineer to work in the general area of refinery planning with specific emphasis on developing short-term, medium-term and long-term plans. Also required will be udating and maintaining the linear program (LP) models and providing ad hoc analysis using the LP models.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT BS in Chemical Engineering Ten (10+) yars of refining experience; 7 or more years refinery planning experience using ASpentech PIMS. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming language.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Organize, prepare, and execute a short-term (4 months), medium-term (1 year) and long-term (10 year) plan using Aspentech PIMS. Review the accuracy of theh LP models for each refinery on a monthly basis by performing model reconciliation and backcasting analysis. This will require trips to each refinery to work with refinery engineers. Work on ad hoc studies when they arise by running the LP models. Develop and modify planning reports written in Microsoft Excel using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
