One of our clients, a large international oil and gas operator, is currently seeking two back-back Lead Drilling Supervisors on a 14/14 rotation, to start as soon as possible. Contract duration will be approximately four months.
The candidates for this position should have the following qualities/experience:
� Extensive experience as Drilling Supervisor with some time spent on Jack Ups.
� Should have recent experience of working in the UK and/or Norwegian Continental Shelf.
� Have a good knowledge of English language, both written and verbal.
� Is very familiar with daily reporting systems (Peloton, WellView).
� Familiar with the UK HSEQ reporting system (Synergi - TBC).
� Familiar with UK Permit to Work (PTW) system.
� Familiar with UK legislation.
� Familiar with Environmental Issues (Waste Management, Ship & Skip).
� Experience in working close to pipe lines, platforms.
� Possesses good communication and planning skills.
� Experience in sidetrack operations, running, drilling and tripping through whipstocks.
� Experience in Well Test and Coil Tubing operations.
� Experience in drilling severely depleted sandstone reservoirs.
� Experience with drilling Mobile Salt formations.
� Possesses all required certificates for working in UK waters (Survival, Medical, IADC approved WC certificate).
