Organization/DepartmentBrunel Energy is currently recruiting for a Project engineer to work on the clients Expansion Gas Supply - for a world leading oil and gas Field. This is an exciting opportunity to work in Perth on a world class LNG Project on the North West Shelf in WA.
Job description• Lead a variety of project management activities, supporting the Expansion Gas Supply Manager and Upstream Project Manager.
• Support maturation of gas resource opportunities to supply trains at the Clients LNG hub. Works closely with the Subsurface work teams.
• Lead development alternatives identification / assessment and selection of the preferred alternative.
• Lead technical activities of the selected pre-FEED engineering contractor in at least one discipline, such as flowlines or floating structures.
• Provide upstream facilities, subject matter, expertise and coordination in support of technical interfaces with potential 3rd party gas suppliers to the Clients LNG hub.
• Support commercial work teams and negotiations as required.
• Integrate inherent safety in design and operability in concept selection and development for gas resource opportunities
RequirementsExperience:
• Minimum 5 years industry experience, preferably on the NW shelf
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Equivilent
• Must have previous experience with project engineering, conceptual studies coordination, interface support.
• Strong project management skills
• Solid technical background is also desirable in at least one of the disciplines required for deepwater developments (pipelines/flowlines and subsea developments),
• Ability to lead the engineering contractors and technology development workscopes.
