Basic Functions:
The timely and accurate acquisition of surface rights; coordinating the efforts of Surveyors and Brokers.
Represent the company and interact extensively with internal Business Units, public and regulatory stakeholders.
Foster and maintain relationships with all stakeholders in an assigned area.
Ensures surface acquisition and consultation compliance with SRB and ERCB regulations and Directives.
Interacts with Land Administration and Accounting to ensure data quality.
Additional duties as required.
Relationships:
Reports to Manager, Surface Land.
Works closely with Surface Land Administration, the drilling and facilities group, Business Units, accounting, field superintendents and operators, survey companies, Brokers, and government agencies
Specific Responsibilities:
Initiate and coordinate surveys and surface rights acquisition for all TAQA NORTH and PrimeWest projects within an assigned area.
Provides surface information for applications to appropriate government agencies and interested third parties.
Responds to surface rights requests/concerns. Ensures surface rights and public consultation compliance with SRB Regulations and ERCB Directives.
Qualifications:
Olds College Land Agent Diploma or equivalent education and experience.
Minimum 5 years experience.
Possess a permanent LandAgent license.
Possess a valid vehicle operating license.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
The ability to self start, manage and prioritize workloads while effectively working as a team member.
Working knowledge of computer and various programs.
