BHP Coal New Mexico is seeking qualified individuals who are looking for an excellent opportunity to join our world class team at our Navajo Mine operations located near Farmington, New Mexico.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
You will troubleshoot, maintain and install electrical circuits on Mining equipment, facilities, power lines and substations; and perform MSHA
inspections/repairs on same. Requires 5+ years as a journeyman electrician working with surface mining equipment or heavy duty construction equipment and facilities (related industrial experience or maintenance may be considered).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma/GED and have a valid driver’s license. Advanced vocational school or apprenticeship education preferred, strong written/verbal communication and team skills. Knowledge of risk awareness and hazard identification are preferred. Applicants will be required to successfully pass additional written and practical testing requirements to be considered for employment. This postion requires an MSHA electrical qualification.
