HSE Advisor required for role in the Middle East.

You will identify and assess HSE hazards through systematic reviews and assessments to ensure the facilities are designed so that risks from potential hazards are eliminated or kept as low as reasonably practicable. The design will address both first and third party risks.

The application of the ALARP principle to the design evaluation process with specific reference to best industry practices.

Implementation of an iterative engineering design process that reflects the principle of ALARP.

Major accident risk associated with this proposed development therefore needs to be understood at an early phase in the project to ensure that these risks are appropriately addressed in the design. An analysis of Major Accident impacts on the surrounding environment will need to be undertaken to fulfill the Environmental Impact Assessment requirements associated with the project.

The first phase, to be conducted toward the end of the project feasibility study, will require a high level Concept Quantitative Risk Assessment;

The Second phase, to be addressed during the Front End Engineering & Design (FEED), will require a detailed Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA);

The third phase, to be addressed during the Detailed Design Phase, will require the updating of the FEED QRA and development of an MHI Risk Assessment.
