Requirements:

Our Client

Our client is a fast growing EPC contractor engaged in Offshore and Offshore construction projects for clients in Oil & Gas, Utilities and Marine Infrastructure. Their portfolio of past offshore projects include assembly and fabrication of mobile production units, process modules for FPSOs, wellhead platforms, offshore structures and related process equipment and fabrication.

The Position

As part of their aggressive growth, they now seek to engage a highly driven Senior Estimator to join their team. The position will be based in the United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Manage estimation of EPIC/ fabrication/ multidiscipline construction projects from enquiry stage to contract realisation
• Carry out initial contract review
• Act as the single point of contact between senior management, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
• Manage site visits and ensure clarification meetings are on time
• Coordinate with other departments to review and verify the drawings/ scope of work, clients’ clarifications and formulate the scope of work/ BOQ
• Identify the detailed material requirements, required subcontractors for relevant activities and obtain competitive prices
• Identify the resource requirements in line with construction/ fabrication productivities and the project scope
• Prepare estimation/ project summary for management review
• Carry out site survey and identify the site impediments
• Provide the inputs and direct the planning group to prepare the preliminary project schedule/ method statements
• Professionally qualified with a relevant degree
• Strong track record in major offshore construction / fabrication / installation projects
