Cactus Engineering & Trading Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Australian energy and resources specialist, AusGroup Limited, specializes in Turnkey manufacturing and fabrication for the oil and gas industry. Our services include machining, fabrication, refurbishing and testing of subsea/surface wellhead equipment, manifolds, telescopic joints etc. Our Singapore facility has been in operation since 1990 and we currently employ some 200 employees.

Commodity Purchaser
(Singapore)

Responsibilities:
* Sourcing of supplier for assigned commodity such as bolt and nut, plates, round bar, I beam etc.
* Request for quotation / proposal
* Issue PO and follow up on delivery
* Negotiation / cost saving for assign commodity
* Liaise with QC and supplier on non-conformance issues
* Supplier performance rating

Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum 2 years experience preferably in oil & gas / marine industry
* Good negotiation and communication skills
* Proficient with MS Office applications
