THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide a Technical Integrity (IVB) Coordinator. Residential 5/2 contract duration 1 year (renewable). Excellent daily rates.
THE PERSON
Must be a widely experienced oil & gas industry generalist and have experience in O&G assets, both in the operations and project phases of the life cycle. Experience in contract management and auditing, interfacing with external officials of governance bodies and authorities. Proven skills in the following areas: coordination functions either corporate or project related (i.e. engineering, maintenance, project etc.); project controls; (culture) change management; team management.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree in Engineering, preferably MSc or MEng. Essential characteristics: strong relationship building skills; well developed diplomatic skills and powers of persuasion; ease of communication and persuasion across the organisational levels, across disciplines, companies and (national) cultures; cultural sensitivity and empathy; steadiness of purpose, i.e. the ability to draw a well-argued and non-confrontational line in the sand when all other methods of persuasion are unsuccessful. Fluent in written and spoken English essential.
