Our client is a leading International EPC Company with offices and projects worldwide and they are currently seeking an Interface Manager to join their PMC team for an Integrated Gas Development project located in Abu Dhabi. Primary responsibilities will include:-
à Manage the overall project interfaces. This shall include but not be limited to the interface with other contractors, owners of existing facilities, service providers and local authorities.
à Develop and maintain an overall Interface Plan for the project covering all identified and potential interfaces.
à Ensure that the EPC Contractor develops an Interface Plan relevant to its activities as per the EPC Contract. Monitor and ensure that the EPC Contractor performs all interface activities in accordance with its obligations under the EPC Contract.
à Monitor and bring to Company’s attention any development likely to impact the Project in any manner and advise measures for resolution/mitigation thereof.
à Coordinate with Company’s end users and obtain their input and feedback as required. Ensure that such input and feedback is suitably considered and incorporated.
à Coordinate with other companies in the ADNOC Group and obtain their input and feedback as is necessary for the implementation of the project.
à Monitor the progress of associated projects and take any corrective action necessary.
à Organise and participate in interface meetings involving the EPC Contractor, other Contractors appointed by Company for the undertaking of the project, contractors of associated projects, owners of existing facilities, other ADNOC group companies, etc. to review on a regular basis the developments likely to affect the project and take corrective action as required.
à Monitor and ensure that the EPC Contractor undertakes timely actions relating to its responsibilities for interfacing with other Contractors as per the provisions of the EPC Agreement.
Candidates should have B.S in Engineering or equivalent. Extensive relevant experience in oil and gas industry including ten years of project management experience for onshore gas projects. Should have the ability to manage, direct and guide the PMC team to achieve project objectives. Ability to determine any adverse impact on the project and propose early solution in order to avoid any adverse impact. Should have the ability to deal with EPC Contractors while exercising absolute control on the work. Middle East experience would be a definite advantage. Excellent management and communication skills are a must. Successful candidate will be initially located in South Korea 12-24 months for the design stage of the project then relocate to Abu Dhabi for the 24 month construction phase.
