The Business Planner role contributes to maximise the value of the NWS integrated production system by providing a medium term focus to production from NWS. This role provides a critical interface between North West Shelf Production, Marketing, Business Unit and Developments functions on all matters relating to mid-term production, constraints and system optimisation opportunities. As a result the role is diverse, challenging and gives exposure to the broader business.
Successful performance in this Position depends upon strong interface management, together with depth of understanding in the business drivers behind the production system.
Key Accountabilities:

o Modelling the NWS Gas System to produce 3 year production forecasts for the NWS integrated production system.
o Identifying and evaluating opportunities to maximise value from the integrated production system.
o Providing input to Woodside and NWS Venture Business Plans o Providing business case support to Production and Developments o Stewarding performance against forecasts including supporting commentary to internal and external stakeholders.
o Acting as custodian for the production optimisation tool - PRO
o Support of short term planners and offtake co-ordinators in understanding business drivers and encouraging them to achieve objectives.

Qualifications, skills and experience
* The candidate will require a degree in engineering or equivalent
* Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
* Previous knowledge of integrated production systems such as the North West Shelf will be advantageous.
* 5 to 10 Years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
The Production Division acts as a united function to the business and is therefore seeking individuals that are team orientated, display corporate citizenship and able to lead by example within Woodside. A strong commitment to safety with exceptional organisational and communication skills is also very desirable.
