The Project Team Leader is the managing focal point for all Medium and Minor CAPEX projects in the Production Technical Services portfolio on one or more Facilities. Responsible for progressing the medium to long term opportunities for the Facility, which complements the short term focus of the Facility Engineering Group.

The Project Team Leader represents Woodside's interests, oversees the work of the 3rd party contractor and ensures customer expectations are met in Project delivery by the Project Engineers.

Key Accountabilities include:

* Understands and ranks the relative priority of each opportunity and progresses the optimal suite of opportunities to bring maximum value to the facility.
*
Ensure the portfolio of projects meets the Facility business and budget requirements.
*
Implement the systems and processes for the effective Project Management of each opportunity, and ensure Health, Safety and Environment is considered and addressed in all work.
*
Supervise and guide the work of the Project Engineers and administrate the use of the Project Assurance Check processes to ensure clear documentation and progress of each project.
*
Ensure adequate engagement of Facility Engineers and Technical Authorities to provide the right technical solution.
*
Manage the OPEX and CAPEX budget assigned to the Production Technical Services portfolio for the given Asset.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

* Extensive Project Management experience.
*
Formal qualifications in project management (Level 5 accredited to PMI or equivalent).
*
Understanding of Oil and Gas systems and processes, or similar industry experience.
*
Leadership, mentoring and communication skills to supervise the PE and work in the WEL integrated organization.

The Production Division acts as a united function to the business and is therefore seeking individuals that are team orientated, display corporate citizenship and able to lead by example within Woodside. A strong commitment to safety with exceptional organisational and communication skills is also very desirable.
