Join Woodside as a Senior Facility Engineer in an Instrument, Electrical or Controls discipline and you will be offered a high degree of autonomy. Your challenge is to optimise the availability and ensure the technical integrity and safety of our instrumentation and control systems.
Key responsibilities of the position include;
* Providing escalated technical support to the Field Engineering, Operations and Maintenance Groups.
* Ensuring that the requirements for management of integrity (MOTI) of instrumentation are maintained and well documented.
* Developing long term strategies for the maintenance, replacement & upgrade of instrumentation, control systems and custody transfer systems to ensure continued plant integrity and reliability.
* Preparation of annual scopes of works and budget submissions for shutdown and major maintenance of instrumentation, control systems and custody transfer systems.
* Providing input to brown fields minor projects and major expansion projects.
* Ensuring the requirements for management of technical integrity (MOTI) of instrumentation and QMI are adhered to in maintenance and operational activities.
* Conducting regular internal audits on instrumentation, QMI and custody transfer facilities, procedures and practices on the KGP.
* Actively participate in reliability and integrity review studies (eg IPF's, HAZOPS, JHA's)
* Updating and maintaining the instrumentation standards for the Karratha Gas Plant
* Actively contributing to health, safety and environmental management at the Karratha Gas Plant.
To be successful in the position it is envisaged you will have;
* Relevant engineering degree and sound post graduate experience
* Operational experience on a hydrocarbon processing plant or similar facility will be well regarded
* Broad knowledge of field instrumentation, control valves and instrumented systems is essential
* Knowledge of Instrumented Protective Function methodology desired
* Knowledge of process analysers and metering instrumentation (QMI) is advantageous
