Work alongside the industry's best as a Senior Inspection Engineer, and you will play a vital role in assuring technical integrity and optimising the availability of static plant and equipment. Through your specialist advice, support and guidance you will make a valued contribution to the safe and reliable operation of the Karratha Gas Plant and have the opportunity to deliver the accountabilities, some of which are listed below.
* Define the scope of inspections and critically review reported findings of pressure vessels, pressure piping, hoses, structures, pipelines, buried and submerged equipment, relief devices, lifting equipment and safety equipment used for hydrocarbons production in order to demonstrate the equipment's integrity.
* Developing and reporting maintenance and repair requirements for maintaining or re-establishing equipment to specified performance standards.
* Utilise inspection planning and reporting tools used by the OZE2 Group and Operations to demonstrate production equipment availability and integrity. This includes SAP-PM (maintenance management system), EIHP (equipment inspection history & planning database) and risk based inspection tools.
* Prepare the painting scope and monitor the monitor the painting inspection activities to maximise the effectiveness and quality of the applied coatings.
* Ensure all inspection activities, are performed in accordance with the Woodside Golden Safety Rules and other HSES requirements.
* Management including safety management of inspectors and Contractors
* Implementation, maintaining and improving corrosion management strategies.
To be successful in this rewarding position, you will need to have;
* Relevant Engineering qualifications
* Previous experience in the oil and gas industry
* A demonstrated ability to manage site static pressure equipment and civil and structural inspection programmes
