MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma. Current certificate in BOP and Well Control. Experience: 10 years. Experience must include working with tools for pipe recovery, cutting, milling, jarring, washover operations, casing patches, whipstock recovery, and wire-line recovery. Knowledge of thru-tubing tools is required. Must be familiar with all Bowen, Tri-State (Baker) Smith international, Weatherford and similar propriety brand fishing tools and products.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Rig Liaisonman with strong fishing experience, should have a minimum of 10 years experience with cased hole, open hole and workover fishing. A solid knowledge of drilling and problem solving skills are essential. Individual needs to be self motivated, have strong written and verbal communications skills, and be a good planner and organizer. Full knowledge of fishing tools maintenance and re-dressing procedures are required. The fishing specialist will be working both in the operations base and in the field.
