POSITION DESCRIPTION: Works as an independent Contract Functional Reviewer and Cost Compliance Analyst on major and more complex contracts. As Contract Functional Reviewer, reviews contractual provisions and award recommendations to ensure clarity, adequacy, effectiveness and reasonableness of financial terms, conditions and prices prior to execution of a contract. Participates as a Saudi Aramco Bid Review member in negotiating terms and prices of high value contracts. As Cost Compliance Analyst, advises Saudi Aramco Project Management Team (PMT) on the financial administration of major project contracts to ensure that invoices for payment and change orders are in compliance to the Contract rates, terms & conditions and Company policies and procedures. Provides on-site assistance to PMT in day-to-day financial administration of Cost Reimbursable contracts for Program Management. Assists in interpreting contract provisions and resolving contractual issues to preclude or minimize contract claims. Acts as a work director of Contract Cost Compliance Analyst and Contract Cost Compliance Analyst.
SELECTION CRITERIA: Minimum years experience required: 7 years of financial experience, of which 3 years has been in work direction capacity. Education: BS Accounting. Advanced Degree Preferred: Yes. Other Acceptable Majors: Finance. Licenses Required: CPA, CIA, CA or equivalent is required Ability to articulate clearly in oral and written English. Working knowledge of auditing, cost control and procedural techniques required. At least three years experience with one of the major CPA firms. Experience with Information Systems is preferred. High proficiency in the use of computer application programs such as MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
