Location: Saudi Arabia POSITION DESCRIPTION: Responsible to identify and obtain the data required to satisfy the business requirements for data extraction, analysis and presentation. These data may include: SAP R/3 data, data external to SAP (legacy data). The analysis/design and development functions include: SAP R/3 and BW application knowledge in the business process area. Experience in SAP R/3 HR and Payroll modules (ECC6.40). Experience with data warehouse data analysis. The ability to develop a solution using BW to meet company's business requirements. Strong ABAP skills. Exposure to Java and HTML. Experience of BW authorization and user management. Proven track record in development of SAP HR and Payroll reports in BW environment. A working understanding of the Accelerated SAP methodology and tools. The ability to work effectively in a diversified team. Strong analytical skills. The ability to work independently and as a team member. Strong time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities. Knowledge of application software tools, including presentation, spreadsheet, and word processing applications. Knowledge of data quality issues.
SELECTION CRITERIA: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems. Any SAP Netweaver or BW certifications. Knowledge of SAP BW extraction tools such as Crystal and BEX Analyzer reporting tools. Knowledge of web development and FrontPage expertise is required for presentation solutions. At least 7 years experience in computer related discipline. Must have a background in SAP/R3 HR and Payroll modules either from programming or system analysis perspective. Demonstrated abilities in problem analysis and resolution. Ability to liaise with end-users in order to gather their business requirements and to convert these requirements into understandable requirements for IT programmers for implementation. Initiates and liaise with IT, HRP&P, and various company help desks on BW support issues. Mentor and train junior members of staff.
COMMENTS: The Human Resources Policy & Planning department primary role is to maintain effective employee relations programs backed by delivery systems, which efficiently support the high quality employees needed to operate and manage a multinational enterprise. HRP&P consists of 4 divisions: Compensation, Benefits, Personnel Policy, and Human Resources Systems Divisions.
