Static Equipment & Welding Inspector

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Saudi Aramco's Haradh Gas Plant Department is seeking a Static Equipment & Welding Inspector with a comprehensive knowledge in the inspection of Static Equipment and Piping Systems in an operating petrochemical facility such as Gas Plants or Refineries. The candidate should have extensive experience in turn-around inspections, routine day to day inspection activities as well as administration of the various inspection programs.

The candidate is expected to: Perform all types of required inspections related to pressure vessels and piping inspections daily and during turn-around and make the necessary recommendations to meet code requirements Recommend and monitor nondestructive testing examinations Review engineering design changes & MOC's for compliance with applicable codes and to ensure inspection requirements are met. Provide mentorship training & development to assistant Inspectors

SELECTION CRITERIA: 10 years direct inspection experience in Gas Plants or Refineries AWS-CWI or CSWIP Certified API-570 or 510 Certified Knowledge in Risk Based Assessment & Fitness-for-Service Applications, Corrosion & Degradation mechanisms, Coating Inspection and Cathodic Protection is a plus.

COMMENTS: The candidate will work in a supportive environment within the compound of a modern Gas Plant and Residential Bachelor Complex where not only single room accommodations, laundry and food are free, but also modern recreational facilities are provided. In-addition, the candidate will receive a handsome 12% location zone allowance, and 10.5 hours overtime weekly on a 5/2 work schedule. The area is served by free airplane transportation 4 times weekly to two main cities in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom.
