THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide a Senior Instrument Engineer. A 5/2 residential position, basically office based, but may be required to make visits overseas on-offshore facilities from time to time. Contract duration 1 year (renewable). Excellent daily rates.
THE PERSON
15 years Instrument and / or Automation Engineering experience. Ability to respond rapidly and effectively to changing requirements on short notice. Ability to manage several tasks concurrently. Ability to communicate clearly with superiors, subordinates, co-workers, senior managers. Ability to be an effective team-builder and coach in a multi-cultural environment. Personal qualities of flexibility, integrity and confidentiality. Excellent communications and presentation skills. Experience with foreign management styles and working with foreign companies. High level technical knowledge and skills. Ability to produce concise, accurate reports and review of procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Engineering Degree in Instrumentation and / or Automation. Experience of work with instrument drawings, specifications, codes and standards. Experience in Oil & Gas Instrumentation, SMART instruments, Distributed Control Systems, PLC. Training experience. Computer literate. Fluent spoken and written English preferred.
