Job summary
Seeking a Preservation and Maintenance Coordinator to work in Amelia, LA for a major oil & gas company on a long term contractual basis.
Primary point of contact for preservation and maintenance of equipment in the fabrication yard. Responsible for the following:

• Read, understand, and verify Vendor requirements for equipment
• Read, understand, and verify Company specifications, logs, and requirements for Preservation and Maintenance of on-module equipment
• Read, understand, and verify contractual obligations of Fabricator in regards to maintenance of free-issued and non-free issued equipment
• Ensure Preventative Maintenance is being done on Rotating Equipment and static Equipment in accordance with Vendor requirements.
• Ensure preservation is implemented according to Vendor requirements and specifications
• Field witness and participate in Fabricator maintenance activities
• Inspect quality of work being performed by Fabricator in regards to maintenance and preservation
• Assist operations in labeling verification and application
• Verify pre-loadout preservation is completed prior to Mechanical Acceptance of module in Fabrication Yard
• Assist Equipment Vendors in Fabrication Yard
• Review and understand start-up and 2 year spares list and ensure equipment is properly stored and maintained
• Provide guidance to Fabricator regarding up and coming maintenance activities and requirements regarding equipment and planning
• Identify potential quality deficiencies which result in early maintenance requirements
• Work with Fabrication Yard inspectors to ensure preservation and maintenance activities are performed smoothly and in conjunction with Fabricator's workscope (e.g. equipment sharing, etc)
