Due to a growth phase that has been and will continue to happen, they are now looking for a Senior Projects Engineer to join their business.

The role is going to focus predominately in the delivery of capital works and infrastructure.   As the Senior Project Engineer you will sit within the engineering team and report to the Engineering Manager.   Your core influence will come from your practical knowledge and execution in a project delivery team.   An effective communicator, you will lead and work closely with your peers to create and implement mine production schedules & designs that provide a safe working environment and a continuous coal supply.  

In line with the responsibilities outlined above, will be your suitability to the role itself. 

As key basic requirements, you will possess most if not all of the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mining or Civil)
• Demonstrated sound written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literate with various mine software packages 
• The ability to take ownership of the work
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role working in an Open Cut Coal environment.
