Duties:

·         Basic reservoir engineering capabilities

·         Project/Prospect evaluation support in the form of project rate and reserve assessments, economics, and risk analysis.

·         Evaluating economics for potential acquisitions, and new ventures.

·         Full field Development planning including waterflooding.

·         Reservoir performance analysis, log analysis, and geologic (structural and stratigraphic) description.

·         Support for base property forecasts; and booking packages for suggested SEC reserve bookings. 

·         Work closely with team members in selecting and executing development plans.

·         Ongoing technical evaluation of company asset base.

·         Data collection and data management.

·         Ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

The expatriate engineering professional will be working with a team of expatriates and Egyptian nationals within an active business environment.  Experience working in multicultural environments is beneficial.  The position is a resident status position in Cairo and the candidate must be willing to relocate to Cairo, Egypt.  The candidate will have 10+ years experience in reservoir engineering/ reservoir management.    The candidate should have good communication skills, both written and oral and have leadership skills and/or experience working with a team of engineers, G&G staff and other support personnel.  Ideal candidate will be a self starter that can anticipate problems and adjust accordingly to meet demands of active drilling and development programs.
