Aker Solutions MMO based in Trondheim is one of the lead suppliers of services within maintenance and modifications in the oil and gas industry. In addition Aker Solutions MMO delivers early stage studies for development of existing oil and gas fields.
We need experienced engineers and talents who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans in our office in Trondheim. We are looking for: Structural engineers - Design

Responsibilities and tasks

• participate in concept study and project execution in modification- and new build projects
• design of main structure, secondary and outfitting structures by use of PDMS 3D modelling
• extraction of structural 2D drawings and material take off from the 3D model
• development of installation methods
• sporadic offshore surveys
• option of discipline or group management for the right candidate

Qualifications & personal attributes

• higher technical education
• good knowledge of using PDMS
• experience from oil & gas industry
• experience using PDMS
• excellent interpersonal skills
• ability to take initiative and to be flexible
• good communication skills written and orally
