We are currently representing one of Australias leading construction companies with a huge portfolio of large scale projects throughout Australia. They have forged a reputation as a leading contractor for the design, construction of process plants with a recent successful history of completing jobs on time and under budget and with a high focus on safety. They have recently been awarded the principle contract for a landmark Queensland Project worth over $800 million. The project involves the greenfield construction of a large scale chemical plant which will be used to service the Mining and Resources sector.

We are currently seeking Contracts Administrators for this project based at the Northern end of the Bowen Basin. Reporting to the Contracts Manager the successful applicants will demonstrate successful experience on large scale heavy industrial construction projects of over $10 Million including contract formulation, managing sub-contractor supply agreements, reporting on forecasts and manning and negotiating and processing variation claims.

Candidates with either chemical or oil and gas experience would be highly regarded. The successful applicant will be degree qualified with over 5 years experience.

This project is expected to run until December 2008. On completion of the project the successful candidates would be seconded onto another similar project making this a great long-term opportunity for the right candidates.
