Braemar Steege are a leading firm of international loss adjusters specialising in the energy, marine, power and related sectors; we wish to enhance our upstream expertise and seek individuals to train as loss adjusters in our London office. Educated to degree standard with a minimum of 4 years experience with a major oil company or contractor, the preferred candidates will be active team members possessing strong written and verbal communication skills.
This opportunity offers excellent long term career prospects, an attractive salary package and the flexibility to balance a love of overseas travel with the demands of family life. The successful applicant will be required to evaluate each claims’ requirements in terms of engineering, insurance conditions, geography, language and cultural nuances, cost control and use IT for data management; all in relation to the clients' objectives. The position involves extensive travel to examine loss sites, the investigation of causation and policy coverage analysis, and requires a very high standard of written communication. In-house training will be provided and relevant professional qualification by examination will be supported.
