An opportunity exists for a motivated and responsible individual to join a well known contractor who is seeking an Experienced Senior Estimator to price, quote and tender on commercial construction projects in the range of $15 - 20 million.

You will be a team player, with excellent time management and organisational skills. You will be expected to meet strict deadlines, and will pride yourself on the development, growth and success of the business. The role will be predominately office based in Vineyard, where you will mentor a junior estimator and report to company directors.

Ideally you will have extensive previous experience in analysing and dissecting tender documents into manageable sections, structuring quantity estimates with itemised building rate extensions, obtaining and assessing pricing from suppliers and subcontractors, liaising with architects, project managers, council engineers and property owners. You will also be highly confident in the use of estimating software ( such as Buildsoft ) and various Microsoft programmes such as Word and Excel.
