Our client is one of Australia's largest and well-established construction, mining companies who are currently involved in progressing some of the most significant projects in Australia, the Near Pacific and South East Asia.

Our client currently has a requirement for a passionate, driven, experienced Training & Development Superintendent at one of their large Nickel plants in WA. This is a permanent position on a FIFO roster than can be offered on either a 9/5, 5/2 or 4/3 roster.

In this role you will have:-

* A solid training and development background
* A strong desire to train, develop and manage the training function across the mine site which will include the drill & blast, the maintenance and mining dept as well as all management positions
* Create an empowered and challenging team culture that delivers outstanding performance in training & development and achieving successful business performance
* Developing individual training plans for staff members in conjuction with the HR Manager
* Maintaining the current training systems but also review, recommend and implement new improvements
* Question and challenge the businss in the effort to continuously improve

The ideal candidate will possess the following experiences and attributes:-
* Be an experienced Training & Development Superintendent
* Possess tertiary qualifications in training & development
* Have effective leadership skills to drive a high performance culture
* Have previous Open Cut Mining Experience
* Strong interpersonal skills and be highly motivated
* Have the ability to plan and organise tasks and resources
* Have a high level of computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Access
* Excellent report writing skills and the ability to write, review and amend procedures
* Have a proven track record in developing and implementing training systems
The position will carry an extremely attractive salary and only applicants with the above appropriate experience need only apply. You should also have the appropriate visa or be an Australian citizen to be considered for this role.
