To help fuel an ambitious growth strategy, an immediate requirement has arisen for a Mechanical Estimator to augment the current estimating team. This challenging and exciting role reports to the Senior Estimator and is based in the rural yet cosmopolitan coastal town of New Plymouth. Your role will see you negotiating, tendering and estimating on a variety of mechanical construction projects ranging from $1m-$20m in value. From public infrastructure and utilities in New Zealand and Australia, to processing plants in the South Pacific, you will be bidding on a wide and diverse range of projects. This is an estimating role with bucketloads of job satisfaction and variety, with the career prospects to match.

The successful candidate will come from either a trades or engineering background, with a clearly defined track record of successfully winning contracts for recognised mechanical contractors. You will take a pride in your work and be prepared to move your career to the next level with one of New Zealands best. A strong work ethic, and excellent organisational and communication skills are essential.
