The Field Construction Engineering Manager is responsible for managing all activities associated with field engineering, field design, rigging, as-built documentation, construction automation technology, document control, pre-commissioning, and construction system turnover.

Responsibilities for this position include:
*Manages the project construction engineering department which provides construction engineering and technical support to the project.
*Establishes and executes the construction engineering program, which includes the exchange of engineering information among the client, design engineer, and company project.
*Issues requisitions for certain project materials, equipment and services.
*Performs technical administration of contracts.
*Manages and coordinates the assignments of work to field engineering, document control and construction system turnover personnel.
*Provides construction engineering and design services, including technical interpretation of engineering and design documents.
*Establishes and executes construction engineering program.
*Works closely with home office engineering, construction and commissioning teams to identify and resolve engineering and design issues.
*Maintains current knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
*Provides input for the development of project budgets and schedules.
*Helps identify potential scope changes and provides information needed to support Fluor’s Change Impact Assessment program.

Job Requirements

-BS in Construction Management, Construction Technologies, Construction Sciences or Engineering required.
-Minimum of 10 years industry experience and experience serving as Field Engineering Manager or Senior Construction Engineer.
