The PMC Construction Manager for EPC Package 1 reports functionally to the Deputy Construction Director and project reporting is to the Project Manager – EPC Pkg 1 on this $4-$5 billion grass-roots refinery project as part of the PMC staff. The CM-Pkg 1 will be responsible for all field construction activities for the LSTK EPC scope for the Atmospheric / Vacuum Units. The ROM value of this scope is ~$1 billion.

The position will start at the Task Force headquarters in Sugar Land during pre-construction planning activities and EPC bidding phase. Around February, 2008 the position will relocate to the EPC Contractor’s office for 5-7 months until the EPC’s plan of effective construction. At that time, the position will relocate to the project site in Nizhnekamsk, Russia for the duration of the assignment. The EPC bidders include contractors from the USA, Japan, Korea, Italy, France, and the UK.

Job Requirements

*Experience should include refinery construction, Russian and/or Former Soviet Union projects, cold climate construction, and mega-project experience.
*Must be capable of establishing productive working relationship with a Russian client working through an interpreter.
*Must have 15+ years industry experience and 5+ years on international mega-projects.

This position may impose requirements specific to the host country, including but not limited to, background checks, medical screens, and Visa requirements.
