Requirements: BSME and 10 years experience in piping construction with experience in nuclear power plant a plus.

• Discipline manager will be responsible for both construction engineering and craft labor for the construction of an advanced boiling water reactor (abwr). Duties include managing the development of construction work procedures based on design specifications, drawings, and applicable code requirements (e.g. ASME section 3 division 1 and other codes). Construction work procedures will address work instructions and required documentation for all piping commodities such as pipe, pipe supports, valves, vessels, flushing and hydro testing …ect. Duties will also include management of the piping craft labor work force both direct hire and sub contractors.

• Responsible for the planning and executing the work to meet the project schedule and making corrections when and if necessary.

• Responsible for executing the work in accordance the quality standards and requirements in the quality assurance manual and the implementation of the Fluor ASME code N-stamp program.

• Responsible for executing the work in accordance with Fluor’s HSE and safety standards, practices and procedures. Responsible for playing an active role in the development of Fluor safety culture.

Job Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering

10+ years experience in heavy civil construction with experience in nuclear power a plus
