THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide Maintenance and Construction Supervisors to be based in Libya on a 9 month contract. 4/4 rotation. Camp based accommodation provided. Good rates / conditions.
THE PERSON
Minimum 10 years of related experience in oil and gas fields. At least 3 years of experience in supervising maintenance and construction teams. Experienced with pipeline construction, preferably in projects executed in Libya. Work experience in live plants and hazardous areas. Conduct all actions and activities in line with company HSE policies. Prepare work permits as required for each activity as per the Permit to Work system. Make sure a toolbox talk is completed for each critical work activity and all precautions adhered to at all times. Responsible for the whole project construction scope and coordinating with operation and site stakeholders the construction activities. Provide input and support to the development of National Staff. Ensure activities conducted and completed in accordance to the applicable standards through defined QA/QC procedures. Verify received material and hand over material to construction company as per agreed procedures. Check and sign daily time sheets submitted by contractors.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree qualified candidates preferred. MS Office and maintenance planning software knowledge. Good knowledge of international standards. Mechanical background with some knowledge of E&I essential. Able to work with minimal supervision, ensuring jobs are fully completed. Excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English, essential. Must be eligible to reside and work in Libya.
