IMMEDIATE NEED. . . for a Operations Manager with manufacturing experience in the Aerospace MRO or related industries, to work for a world leader in the manufacture of aerospace and industrial components. Primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining an effective operations organization through selection, training/development and motivation of a manufacturing team. In this position, you will plan and control MRO manufacturing operations at lowest cost consistent with established specifications for customer quality. You will also be responsible for year over year cost reductions (5%) and Turn Around Time reductions through the utilization of Continuous Improvement projects. In addition, you will implement 5S, set-up reduction initiatives, TPM initiatives and standard work planning to achieve customer turn around times under 20 days. To qualify for this position, you must have a minimum of a B.S. degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, along with 3+ years of related operations or manufacturing experience preferably in the Aerospace industry.
