A company located near Chicago, IL, is aggressively searching for a Electrical Designer for power plant design work. The position will use knowledge gained from past experience to design wiring substations for customers projects throughout the United States. The ideal candidate will have experience with both AutoCAD and Microstation. The client wants to look at all potential candidates having CAD experience. Candidates must have at least 4 years of operating experience for this position. Previous consulting experience in the power generation industry would be a PLUS for this position. The client does prefer a local candidate; however, if you have the requirements needed for this position the client will consider and negotiate a relocation package for the right candidate. The client wants to fill this position as soon as possible; therefore, please answer the following questions so as to speed up the submittal process.
Questions you will be asked:

• Please list your degrees, licenses, certificates and related documents for this position.

• How did you gain your knowledge and experience for this position?

• How many estimated operating hours do you have with each CAD software application?

• What types of wiring projects have you designed over the past 5 years? If you can give examples of the following types of projects: Primary, Transmission, Substation, Secondary, and industrial plant power.

• Where do you currently live, when are you available to start?
