ACTIVE SEARCH under way by our chemical manufacturing client for a Manufacturing Engineer with strong Process Control experience in the Houston TX area! Your responsibilities will include: 1) development and implementation of process automation, measurement and control projects, and process enhancements that improve transition times, product quality, product consistency and efficiency of the plant; 2) development and implementation of process automation, measurement and control improvements by improving existing technology and-or using new technologies that enhance or maintain process safety, product quality and production efficiencies; and 3) tracking and recording the history of major process trends, variable cost position, safety incidents, DCS standards and technology development and implementation. Qualified candidates MUST HAVE a BS Chemical Eng with emphasis on Process Control (MS preferred), at least 10 years demonstrated experience in the Chemical industry, strong technical skills with PLC programming and the ability to be a solid team player. PLUSES: Honeywell systems experience and an understanding of high voltage systems. Travel will be approximately 25% of your time, both domestic and international.
