Airframe Design Engineer

A leading engineering firm has an immediate opening for an Airframe Design Engineer to work in their northeast Kentucky location. A BS Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is desired, however equivalent industry experience and education will be considered. Experience utilizing Catia V4 and or V5 for 2D and 3D modeling is also required. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience in airframe structural design utilizing composites, sheet metal and machined parts. Candidate must also be able to conduct layout work that will establish new design configurations. Must be able to complete both assembly and mono-detail drawings.

This position will be responsible for the preliminary and detailed design of airframe parts, assemblies and installations using Catia V4 and V5. A working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing will be required.
