Calibration Technician - Dimensional / Physical

A leading national calibration service provider has an immediate opening for a Calibration Technician to work in northwest Florida. Candidate MUST have experience in the calibration of dimensional tools (micrometers, calipers, pin gages, etc). From 2 to 5 years experience is required. Experience in the calibration of Physical Instruments (temperature, pressure, etc) is desired as well as calibration of general purpose test equipment. A formal calibration background, such as Airforce PMEL or similar is highly preferred.

This calibration provider is both ISO Registered and Laboratory Accredited to ISO 17025, so experience working under a formal Quality Assurance / Metrology program is highly preferred as well as the documentation requirements of a formal program. There could be travel for on-site work within this position.

This position will start as a Temp-To-Perm with the desire to lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading organization. all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Describe your calibration experience related to dimensional tools and gages, including number of years.

• Do you have experience in the calibration of Physical instruments (Temperature, Pressure, etc)? Explain.

• What other types of instruments or equipment have you had experience calibrating? (electronic, electrical, etc)

• Are you familiar with ISO 17025? What other Quality Programs have you worked under? Describe.

• What is your Training and Educational Background including any Degrees or Certifications.
