Field Service Technician - Automation/Systems/Testing

Location: Northlake, IL, USA
Significant project for 4-6 months+ in Northlake, IL. (west suburb of Chicago). Provide industrial services to customers including but not limited to: commissioning, testing, preventive maintenance, emergency response, warranty, repair and technical direction on industrial electrical equipment. Equipment and systems may include: LV & MV Circuit Breakers and switches; Dry and Fluid Transformers; Transformer Oil Processing; Motors and Generators; AC & DC Drives; Cables and Bus Duct; Protective Relaying; Automation and other industrial equipment. Candidate must be self motivated and able to work with a team of engineers and technicians to accomplish a project. NETA testing skills a big plus. Weekend and Holiday work determined by customer demand. Significant project for 4-6 months in Northlake, IL.
Questions you will be asked:

• Have you worked as a Field Service Technician with commissioning, testing, preventive maintenance, emergency response, warranty, repair and technical direction on industrial electrical equipment ?

• Explain your equipment and systems experience with following: LV & MV Circuit Breakers and switches; Dry and Fluid Transformers; Transformer Oil Processing; Motors and Generators; AC & DC Drives; Cables and Bus Duct; Protective Relaying; Automation and other industrial equipment ?

• Can you work Weekend and Holiday work determined by customer demand ?

• Any NETA testing skills ?
