An excellent opportunity for a Designer in northern Illinois. This is a contract position looking for a Mechanical Designer responsible for all activities associated with the design, evaluation and documentation of small specialty valves. Successful candidate will have an Associate (2 year) degree or equivalent experience, generally 2-5 years as a designer. Candidate will also need to have a solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and tolerance stackups, Solid computer Aided Design Skills, Basic physics (hydraulics, pneumatics) and math (algebra, trigonometry), Basic knowledge of prime movers, and be able to conceptualize designs. • Detail all design experience.

• Detail experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and tolerance stackups.

• Detail your computer Aided Design Skills.
