Plant Technician - Plant Equipment/Fossil/Maintenance

IMMEDIATE REQUIREMENT in Utah for a Plant Technician that will be responsible for the operation,inspection, and occasional maintenance of the plants auxiliary equipment. You will work one day on the control panel and one day monitoring outside equipment. The right person must be skilled in the use of a wide variety of hand tools, along with electric and pneumatic hand tools. You may be working with machine shop equipment such as lathes, drill presses, etc. This position will provide from simple/preventative maintenance to more complicated repairs; working with equipment such as conveyors, high pressure steam boilers, valves, and rotating equipment. This position will be working a rotating shift, 12 hour scheduled days and 84 hours in a two week period. Salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and abilities. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.
Questions you will be asked:

• How would you rate your skills in the use of hand tools, and electric or pneumatic hand tools?

• What type of machine shop equipment have you operated? For example lathes, drill presses, mills, etc.?

• Have you worked with any of these types of equipment; conveyors, high pressure steam boilers, valves, and rotating equipment? Include other types of equipment that you have worked with.

• Are you ok with working rotating day and night shifts, where you work 12 hour days and 84 hours in a two week period? Have you worked this type of shift before?

• This position does not offer relocation assistance. Where do you presently live? This position is located in Sunnyside, Utah. Are you and your family willing to relocate?
