Electrical Engineer - Photovoltaic/Commercial Projects/NEC Code

Photovoltaic Systems Engineer with at least 2 -4 years industry experience to assist in the design and layout of photovoltaic systems for large scale commercial projects. This includes pre-sales engineering support to final design. Primary responsibilities include design of commercial photovoltaic systems; production of plans and documentation for building permit applications; production of construction plans for large photovoltaic projects; design and pre-sales support to system project design consultants; conducting site surveys and inspections; engineering support to field installation team and subcontractors; and coordinating the design of multiple projects simultaneously. To qualify for this position, you must have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related technology field. Prefer candidates with Oregon PE license or ability to gain reciprocal licenses in OR, CA, WA. Candidates must be experienced with TurboCAD, AutoCAD and/or VISIO, and must be well versed with NEC Code and the ability to reference the code as required. Must have knowledge of Uniform Building Code and construction materials and techniques (i.e. lumber, roofing materials, etc.). NABCEP certification is highly desired.

• Describe your knowledge of Uniform Building Code and construction materials and techniques.

• Do you have NABCEP certification? Do you have a Oregon PE license?

• List all degrees, certifications, qualifications and memberships you have relating to this position.
