A well established engineering consulting firm in central Missouri is actively searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer to serve as Department Head. The right candidate must have a BSME and 6 years experience in HVAC and plumbing. Healthcare experience preferred. A PE registration is required. Will be managing and coordinating all activities of an assigned engineering department to include but not limited to: providing the manpower and technical resources in a specific functional area necessary for overall project design, development, support and fiscal requirements. Will participate as a team member in the development and implementation of marketing strategies. Will need to possess an expertise in computer operation of engineering design programs and computer aided drafting along with a demonstrated understanding and knowledge of applicable design codes. Must be progressive and have the capacity and aptitude for administration, planning, organize, supervising and coordinating technical work as well as obtaining cooperation from others.
