Instrumentation & Data Acquisition Engineer needed in Alabama to analyze complex features of the work and apply principles and practices of structural testing, or devise new approaches in problem solutions as well as review all results from assigned tasks and determine if outputs are complete, correct, integrated with project objectives, and adequately documented. Requires BS degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 8 years experience in structural test instrumentation. Requires knowledge of structural test instrumentation requirements, equipment calibration, strain gauges (metal and composites; ambient and temperature extremes), load cells, pressure transducers, deflection transducers, and thermocouples. Responsible for maintenance of test instrumentation inventories, coordinating equipment calibration, generation of equipment requirement specifications, and oversight and coordination of instrumentation activities related to structural testing. Must be knowledgeable with hydraulics, load control systems, data systems, and cryogenic fluids. Visual C, Visual Basic, and LabView is desired. Benefits and relocation included.

• Rate your proficiency with Visual C, Visual Basic, and LabView.

• Are you willing to relocate to Alabama? When are you available?
