Great opportunity with a full service engineering firm located in the Western part of South Carolina for a Structural Field Engineer / Designer responsible for implementation of significant portions of structural steel design on a large project. This will include review of vendor drawings, submittals, and requests for information or deviations associated with design drawings and specifications for concrete and steel installations in heavy industrial process facilities. To be considered you must have a BS degree in Engineering or related field and / or 5 to 7 years of experience directly related to field installation of reinforcing steel, embedded miscellaneous metals, structural steel, concrete placement, etc. Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, CAD, etc.) is required. Experience with implementation of detailed structural designs in the field is desirable. Experience with, and expert knowledge of IBC 2003, ASCE 7-02, AISC ASD, AISC 341-02 and ACI 318-02 is strongly preferred. US Citizenship is required to be considered. Per diem will be considered for eligible candidates. Pay range listed is an approximation so all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.
