Controls Technician - Controls/Valves/Pump/CAD

A world leader in the manufacture of Industrial Valve products is interviewing for a Controls person to be a team player in their Engineering Department. Client is looking for people that have between 3 to 5 years experience with pump and valve or fluid controls experience. Experience with Solidworks is a plus. However, a candidate that has any FEA or Fluid Flow calculations experience will be given strongest consideration. Some duties include creating Bill of Materials and routings, maintaining engineering documentation such as drawings and specifications, and making recommendations to improve quality of product. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skills. This position does offers opportunity for overtime compensation. Local candidates in the Bethlehem, PA area are highly encouraged to apply as no relocation assistance is offered.
Questions you will be asked:

• Describe your experience with controls that are used on fluids, and on valves and pumps.

• What is your CAD experience? What is your Solidworks experience?

• Have you performed any fluid flow calculations or any FEA applications?

• This position is located in Bethlehem PA. There is no relocation assistance offered. Where do you presently live? Or will you be willing to relocate on your own?

• What is your present salary? What is your desired salary for this position. Even though this is considered a salary position, this position does compensate for all hours worked over 40 hours at 1.5 times the calculated hourly rate.
